Mr. A holds a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from McDaniel College. He had worked in middle and high schools for 18 years. He taught a variety of math courses including Pre-Algebra, Algebra-1, Geometry, Algebra-2, Pre-Calculus, SAT Math and AP Calculus. After becoming as a high school program coordinator and later a college counselor, he served the last three years as a high school assistant principal. And currently, he has retired from education and is running his own tutoring program.

Mr. A holds Advanced Professional Teaching Certificate (APC) from Maryland State Department of Education as well as the certification for Outstanding Educator in Gifted and Talented Education from Maryland Advisory Council for GT Education. He received teacher of the year award for three years in a row. Throughout his career, he coached math teams for local, state, and international math competitions such as AMCs, ARML, Math League, Princeton University Mathematics Competition (PUMaC), World Maths Day, Maryland Mathalon and MathCounts. He received resolutions from Maryland State Governors, MD Speaker of the House, MD senators. His team students also received recognition from The White House, Pope Francis, and Akihito, The Emperor of Japan.
